Real name:

Nancy was born in America, raised in India, and first came to Durham to do a Sociology & Social Admin degree at the University. She qualified as a nurse and midwife, and joined the the Army Nursing Corps. After leaving the Army, she returned to Durham with her family and was a co-owner of a successful Prontaprint for 18 years. She also set up Roundtuit Publishing in 2002 to help authors and organisations get round to publishing their own work. After selling Prontaprint seven years ago she and her husband were repeatedly asked to work with small to medium sized businesses, social enterprises and charities to help them communicate more effectively, improve their organisational culture and become financially viable without losing their souls or their sense of humour. To enhance the service, Nancy qualified as a small business coach, a personal professional coach and became an accredited mediator. In 2014 and Nancy went from part time to full time in Roundtuit Durham providing coaching, mediation, facilitation and mentoring.

Services
As a coach and mediator, Nancy works to make herself redundant by giving others the skills and tools to effectively manage their lives and businesses. Nancy is happy to act either as a sole or co-mediator to ensure the most efficient and effective solution is found.  As well as mediation, she offers post-mediation coaching, mentoring and a range of workshops such as "Conversations not Confrontations", “How to Discuss Difficult Issues” and "Setting and Maintaining Standards without Conflict”. She is happy to visit client sites, Skype or telephone or arrange a venue for meetings or workshops.

As well as her varied experience in the public, private and third sector, Nancy is renowned for giving others the skills and tools that make her redundant, but thinks this is great as there always seems to be another challenge and someone else who needs help getting "round to it".
