Why come to our conference?
Learn
We are running eight hands-on workshops, suitable for women at any stage of their business life-cycle, which will develop your skills to succeed in some of the most challenging areas of your business. All our workshop presenters are highly skilled women who own their own businesses and who draw their knowledge from first-hand experience in the real world. There will also be a "real women's" story session where you can gain insight about running a business, ranging in size from just you to high growth.
Share
Our speakers are very successful business women and they will intimately share their experience of their journey to success at our conference. Karen Darby will take the floor in the morning session with Emma Jones in the afternoon – a great opportunity to listen to and learn from business experts.
You'll also be inspired to succeed by the stories of four of our Enterprising Women from across the region, Kate Elliott and Claire McDermid from Active Marketing and Design, Gillian Blackmore of Cyberaid, and Daphne Metland of Content Consultants.
Build relationships
We encourage all our members to network and the Enterprising Women Conference 2008 will present an excellent forum for this. There's a break out room just for meeting and networking during the day, as well as lots of opportunities to meet other women and start building new relationships by chatting over a lunch and during frequent coffee breaks.Have fun!
Come and experience a fabulous day with us at Abington Hall amid beautiful wooded surroundings. Meet our staff and 100's of women from all walks of life in an environment that is down-to-earth, filled with community spirit, and where we have a common goal of achieving our aspirations.
Enterprising Women Regional Awards 2008
We will be announcing the winners of our first ever awards at the end of the
conference day, ending on a high with a glass of champagne. We hope that everyone
from the conference will be able to stay for a celebratory glass at the winners'
champagne reception.
