The Counselling Moment represented by Gillian Roberts offers confidential, effective listening, a space of safety, warmth, compassion and understanding, to enable you to reconnect to your true self.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and I am now working towards my accreditation with the BACP (British Association of counselling psychotherapy), which I am a member of.

My experience so far has been working with people who have had problems with drug and alcohol misuse, anxiety, eating disorders, bereavement,sexual abuse, emotional abuse, bullying, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, separation and divorce, stress and depression. I have also gained a great deal of experience working within a prison environment dealing with a lot of feelings of suicide and self harm. I feel my passion for my work has gained me a great deal of respect and trust in the places that I have worked and in my private practice too.
