The Home Secretary revealed almost 5,000 mentors have joined in an attempt to kick-start growth in the region by encouraging more women to start or build their own companies.
The Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership is one of five across the country which will prosper from Government funding for Rural Growth Networks to provide tailored support which is anticipated to tackle the barriers faced by businesswomen.
