Unfortunately formaldehyde, flame retardants, alkylphenols, phthalates and a plethora of other synthetic chemicals are all found in clothing and bedding for babies and children from big name and ‘trusted’ brands.

Lana Bambini was created to offer high quality clothing for children which is all made from lovely natural – and mostly organic – fibres which are either unbleached and undyed or coloured with completely safe GOTS certified dyes.

We stock high quality clothes for ages 0-7 years in only natural fibres, organically produced wool, cotton, alpaca and silk. Everything is guaranteed free of any allergenic or harmful resides.

Steering clear of the fickle world of children’s mass-produced ‘throwaway’ fashion, we offer timeless designs, sustainably-produced fabrics and gorgeous natural colours. Beautiful garments, robust enough to be passed on to future siblings and then on to future generations, the heirlooms of the future.

Environmental and ethical principal are important to me and deeply concerned about the heavy use of toxic chemicals, oppressive conditions for textile workers and the throwaway culture that sees landfills bursting with unwanted cheap clothing, I decided to set up a business selling clothing for babies and children that is free from harmful substances; and sustainably and ethically produced.
