Women of Achievement set to soar!

Devonshire businesswomen in line for awards honouring top female role models

Five Devonshire women will be hoping to hear the popping of champagne corks on Friday 6th July, as they anxiously await the results of the Women of Achievement Awards.

Women of Achievement is a new initiative, created by the Herald Express working in partnership with Outset Torbay and Enterprising Women and with the support of Torbay Council and the Torbay NHS Care Trust.

It aims to recognise success in the workplace and, in so doing, identify female role models and encourage mentors, inspiring ‘Women of The Future’ across families, the business community, and in schools and colleges.

Sandra Rogers of Vintage Kitty Rose, Becky Forte of Forever Beautiful hair salon, Jema Payne of Crafty Gems and Jacqui Shaw and Pauline Neal of Coralline Health have all been nominated for awards in recognition of their business achievements. The winners will be announced on Friday in a special ceremony at The Grand Hotel, Torquay.

We wish all the women the very best of luck. Save a glass of champagne for us!
