Business networking organisation Enterprising Women is holding a conference in Cornwall later this month that will feature a keynote speech by Secret Millionaire star Dawn Gibbins.
Westcountry Business readers can win one of ten free tickets to the event by emailing louise.boniface@enterprising-women.org.
The event will take place on June 26 at the Lighthouse Cinema, in Newquay, with other speeches by Enterprising Women's founder and CEO of YTKO Bev Hurley and the director of the Convergence Partnership for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Carleen Kelemen.
The day will also offer a range of motivational workshops, helping attendees to improve their sales pipeline and identify and create a distinguished brand within their business.
Philanthropist Dawn is the former owner of global flooring giant Flowcrete, who will be speaking about her experiences of running a business and giving tips on how to be a successful entrepreneur.
The conference will celebrate new and existing businesses launched by local Cornish entrepreneurs.
The theme of the event will be centred around growth, with attendees having the opportunity to share their business experiences.
Bev Hurley, Enterprising Women founder and winner of the Queen's Award for Enterprise 2010, said: "It takes real bravery, energy and determination to become self-employed and start a business and, here in Cornwall, women have been a constant source of inspiration for others to follow in their footsteps.
"We're building a great community of new and existing enterprises that, in most cases, would not have existed without the support we can provide.
"I hope that many of our Cornwall pioneers will grow strong and be able to create more new jobs in the future."
The conference will be held from 9.30am to 3.30pm on June 26 at the Lighthouse Cinema, Newquay.
