With a father and mother who were both in the navy, travel was always my destiny.

Entranced from an early age by postcards sent from pastures new, the desire has never left me, to travel the world.

MY working career spanned both the travel (19 years) and hotel (14 years) industries, visiting more places than even I could have imagined!

New York was a regular feature and from that first glimpse I was smitten. After countless trips and endless guidebooks, unable to find a lighthearted travel guide, geared towards Women, it was time to write my own.

The research, writing, photography, and self publishing were all part of the process, whilst marketing and PR are ongoing.
