Favours and Things

I have recently started my own business called favours and things. I got married in September 2010 and had trouble sourcing favours and centre pieces locally. I ended up getting my favours online, and when they came they were flat packed and nothing like the images I had seen. I made my own centre pieces as these were really expensive to buy locally. When I got made redundant I decided to use my redundancy money to set up my own business and fill this gap in the market. I do favours to suit any budget and colour scheme. They are assembled/made my me, and delivered to you or your venue looking how you imagined. I also make centre pieces and hire these out. This keeps cost down for you and you dont end up with 11 identical pieces as I did! I have now added "Party in a bag", kids party supplies, inc tableware, filled party bags, prizes, games, even invites so busy mums get convenience of everything for a great party in one convenient place, and with one easy call. I want to provide a friendly, yet professional service locally, to prove there is another way to buy these types of things.

Sonia Nadin

I have previously worked as a Team Manager, an Administrator, I have ran local shops, to name but a few of my past jobs. However I always enjoyed crafts. For example tailoring my clothing, making gift wrappings and cards.

As a Mother, I found that doing arts and crafts with my daughter was a great creative outlet and I discovered that was something I enjoyed doing. I ended up making my own favours and centre pieces for my wedding so when I got made redundant in early 2012 I decided to take the leap in to changing that interest in to a full time business.

I currently show case at Wedding Fayres, and other events in Plymouth and surrounding areas and enjoy making connections at local networking events.

I hope to be the place local people come to source favours, table decorations, centre pieces and kids party supplies.
