We are a Professionally Qualified, Experienced Multidisciplinary team, who feel passionate about the physical mental and social value of sustained employment to individuals who are managing a health condition. We work with Insurers, Employers, Solicitors and other interested parties to provide cost effective practical help to those people who are experiencing difficulties returning back into the workplace, maintaining or gaining employment. Our aim is to encourage the empowerment of vulnerable individuals, in the belief that this leads to enhanced personal happiness, fulfillment and improved quality of life

The total cost to employers of mental health problems among their staff is estimated at nearly £26 billion each year, or £1,035 for every employee in the UK workforce.

Most people with common health care problems can be helped to return to work and/or remain in work by following a few basic principles of healthcare and workplace management.

Our services are individually targeted to meet clients needs, and we are able to offer a wide spectrum of practical and psychological support to help individuals manage disability and health conditions in the workplace.We work with clients either face to face, by telephone, or offer group support if that is what is needed.

Jane Butcher

Jane comes from a nursing background. She is also a UKCP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor. She has extensive experience working with individuals who are managing their health conditions and disabilities and who are experiencing barriers to work. Her experience in rehabilitation work, led to a special interest in the physical, psychological and social difficulties associated with managing a health condition or disability.

She feels passionate about the physical social and psychological value of empowerment to individuals. Access to employment, managing change and adapting to lifes challenges can often be helped with assistance from other helpful and supportive agencies. VOCA-VR aims to provide such support.
