How many times have you heard or even said yourself, "I’m not a financial person" or "I’m terrible when it comes to numbers"?

In fact, one of the top reasons that women often put off starting a business is the fear of finance and "doing the books".

This workshop will help de-mystify the language and terminology and give you a solid start with the basics by answering the following questions:

• What is the difference between gross profit and net profit?
• What is turnover?
• What is profit and loss and how do you create a cash flow forecast?
• How do you work out how much money the business needs to make?

This session will be delivered by Eileen Lennon.

Eileen Lennon is Enterprising Women's Trainer and travels all over the south of the UK delivering various training packages for those interested in, or currently running, their own business.

Her career has spanned from everything from teaching, to fork-lift truck driving; direct sales to bar and shop work. She has been in every role from head-cook to bottle-washer and just about everything in between. She has also been a self-employed 'lone wolf' and led an organisation as CEO, meaning that she's well equipped with experience across the field.
