What's the biggest challenge you face in your working life?

Clients give me a lot of different answers to that question but there are some themes that keep recurring:

  • Confidence – whether it's to deal with difficult people, to present yourself and your business compellingly or to see yourself for the capable individual that you are.
  • Change – when you know it's time for a new direction but need to be certain you choose the right one.
  • Support – finding someone who has the time to listen to you, the skills to help you explore and expand your options and the objectivity to help you see clearly can be tricky.

Would you like to tackle your own challenges with the kind of support and empathy you'd expect from a friend and the objectivity and respect you get from a professional?

Please call or email me to arrange a free consultation where you can talk in complete confidence about a challenge you're currently facing.

It's an easy first step to take – no hard sell to worry about – and the sooner you do it, the sooner you'll see the progress you're seeking.

Anglia Women's Development Day

I'm delighted to say that our first event on 2nd October was a big success and even more delighted that Enterprising Women have kindly agreed to sponsor our next one. This means that we'll be able to offer it at an even keener price.

I'll be posting more details soon on our blog at awdd.wordpress.com Please check it out to see what we're planning and what participants had to say about the day.

Liz Lyon

For me, being a coach is about improving my own life and wanting to make a contribution to the world.

But, not being the Mother Theresa type, I try to do it by helping women to have fulfilling and rewarding working lives: I believe that they will, in turn, make life better for the people around them.

So much of our self-esteem and well-being is closely tied to the work we do that I think we owe it to ourselves and to others to make the most of our careers.

Can you imagine a world where everyone is happy to go to work? I'm trying to create it – one step at a time!
