Aims of the course

Delegates see how to use a digital camera with confidence and take pictures to accompany press releases or illustrate feature articles.

They learn to take pictures suitable for publication, including on web pages. They are taught to quickly send images to their targets and build a picture archive. Significant cost savings can be made on taking and distributing pictures.

Plan your training

Digital Photography is designed for executives of any seniority, whether working in an agency or an in-house PR department.

Delegates can bring their own cameras, or share a communal one. They will go out on a photoshoot as part of the day.

Delegates learn how to:

  • Become familiar with the controls of the camera
  • Choose the right settings for the pictures being taken
  • Set up people and props
  • Illustrate boring subjects
  • Take portraits and product shots
  • Download the images
  • Save in various formats
  • Send images quickly to target publications
  • Build up a bank of images including corporate products or services
