Grave Concerns is a family run grave & memorial tending service operating in West Cornwall which provides a locally based, caring, personal and flexible service. Fully appreciating the delicate nature of the work involved we work closely with clients to bring peace of mind and we recognise how important a lost loved one remains in our lives.

Specialising in caring for loved ones' final resting places (whether family, friend or pet) be it in a traditional graveyard, a memorial at the crematorium or within your own grounds we ensure that it is treated with all the dignity and respect it deserves.

Martine Knight

Cornish born and bred - and very proud of it - Martine spent over 25 years in public service with the majority being as part of the police service. Married with 2 children; 2 step-children and 9 grandchildren and step-grandchildren Martine's interests include Kernewek (the Cornish language)and genealogy.

When redundancy reared it's head in 2011 it was the culmination of several difficult years for her family and so Martine took the chance to reassess her life and goals and decided to pursue a long held passion - the care of graves. Having visited churchyards from a very early age with her grandmother Martine has always had a love of them and finds them very revitalising places. Having looked after various family graves for over 20 years she has amassed a wealth of experience and knows how upsetting it can be to see a loved one's grave neglected.

From this passion was born Grave Concerns and Martine's vision is to grow it into a leading grave care company; for burial grounds to look more cared for as a result and for the bereaved to enjoy a feeling of peace in knowing that Grave Concerns is caring for their lost loved ones.
