• A professionally trained photographer who will listen to you needs. In particular what you are intending to say with the image. The right photograph really can paint thousand words.
• I welcome creative input from the client and happy to discuss how we can realistically produce the image you want.
• If it is a business picture profile I can offer advice on what to wear and how to position yourself naturally . The means you are happy with the way you look. It is not air brushing it is showing real people to their best advantage. Once you are relaxed the real you and your enthusiasm for the business will come shining through. No need for false smiles!

I am a mum and ex nurse who has always loved the Arts and Photography. With my children now aged 10 and 12 years, I decided that now was a good time for a change in career.

I decided to be come a professional photographer and have successfully completed my training and obtained my qualification with the British Institute of professional photography. I use all previous skills as a nurse or professional working with mums, babies and childfree every day when I am taking family pictures. I started my portrait business in Jan 2011 and it has slowly building up.

I have also had 4 of my children’s images shorted listed for an award in a national professional photography competition. Wow quite a first year!

I enjoy the photography but have had to learn many new skills to run and develop what a I will hope will be a successful business. One where the customer feels valued and can be themselves in front of the camera.

My new knowledge has been very wide from basic computing to building my own web site.

• Business and Book keeping skills to new software packages as well as continuing to study photography.
• Using Twitter for business has been very successful and I have gained some clients form Twitter whom I may not have met otherwise.
• I aim too carry on developing my skills so that my customers can have the very best that I can provide. At the same time enjoying a family friendly photographic experience.
