The Athena Network

The Athena Network champions businesswomen and supports them in their aims to run successful and fulfilling businesses. We provide structured networking lunchtime meetings at which our members make good business connections and receive training and support on relevant business topics.

Athena has recently set up on Merseyside with Regional Director Heather Madle starting the Liverpool City Group. We meet on the second Thursday of the month at Simply Heathcotes so come and join us and see what Athena can offer you.

By turns I have been a surveyor, teacher and journalist. In my most recent business I ran a community magazine and realised the true importance of making good business connections. I am passionate about putting people in touch with each other and encouraging others in their endeavours.

Women are particularly good at networking as they listen well to others and are interested in promoting the success of all businesses, not just their own.

But to do this we need a forum to provide us with networking opportunities and at times which suit, enabling us to multitask more efficiently. This is where Athena becomes the networking organisation of choice, so come and visit us and see for yourself.
