Paula Wynne and Ken Sheridan launched remoteemployment.com earlier in the year after finding a gap in the recruitment market for flexible home workers.

They came up with the idea for the business after Paula (a freelancer and mum looking for flexible work from home) was looking for a site that offered outsourcing opportunities and Ken (a corporate employer) was looking for a site to source home workers or freelancers. Remote Employment is the result of their shared vision and answers the squeezeís flexible working policies.

The online recruitment connection service, Remote Employment, (www.remoteemployment.com) is dedicated to flexible jobs working from home, work from home jobs, and home based business and home based franchise opportunities. There are no agency fees as they use the website to match freelancers and home workers to employers.

Paula Wynne

Paula Wynne has extensive PR and Marketing experience in all sectors of the market and until recently held the budgets and implemented campaigns for clients which include Wellington Country Park, The Duke of Wellingtonís estate and Cannonís Health and Fitness.

Paula contracted as Press Officer for Childrenís Books at Oxford University Press and freelancers for a small independent hotel group in Newbury. During her time here she was the media liaison for Donnington Valley Hotel and Spa which won several awards including AA Hotel of the Year as well as The Vineyard at Stockcross which received a 2nd Michelin Star amongst other prestigious awards.

Paula launched Remote Employment early in 2008 and has enjoyed watching the business grow from stregth to strength.

It was announced recently that Paula had won the FreshIdeas Events Mentor Competition and was awarded Karen Darby as her mentor for the next six months. Paula is also very proud that Remote Employment won the BT Global Action Plan 'Responsible Business Day' Award.
