Orchid Maternity is a one stop maternity wear shop for mums to be. It offers a range of stylish, affordable, fashionable clothes from size 8 to 18. We also stock petite and longer length maternity wear. Finding the right maternity wear can be difficult and although the high street is much improved, choice is limited to a few rails in each store. I wanted a shop where everything was under one roof, a relaxed non city centre venue, where the mum to be can try on as many clothes as she likes in stress free environment. I stock work, casual and occasion wear.. I am the only independant maternity wear boutique in Norfolk and I stock brands such as Noppies, Crave & Funmum to name a few. My aim is to help women feel good about their changing shape by helping them choose a few key pieces that will make them look and feel fabulous. Having worked for large companies both industrial and corporate I began to feel unfulfilled and disallusioned with my job. Turning forty and having lost two close friends to cancer I decided to re-evaluate what was important to me. Yes I had a good salary and job security but life was passing me by and there were things I wanted to do. I decided to leave my safe job and salary in training and pursue my dream of having my own maternity wear shop which had been in my mind since my eldest now 11 was born. Having done my research and running the business for home for 18 months. I moved into my shop premises in August this year! Scary it is but never unfulfilling. My motto is regret the things you do not the things you dont.
