Bespoke garments are carefully crafted by Clare to a client's wishes to create something that is unique. Clare uses the finest silks and laces in her creations that are available to her from selected suppliers.
Attention to detail is of great importance to Clare, and her client's wishes are listened to carefully in order to achieve what is required for that very special day or occasion.
To make a Bespoke Wedding Gown it takes approximately 50 hours of hand sewing. After gaining her Diploma at The London College of Fashion, Clare was trained in Haute Couture by Sir Norman Hartnell, to produce beautiful hand- made clothes using exquisite fabrics.
She has made Bespoke Dressmaking and Design her life long passion and this has earned her the reputation of being one of the finest seamstresses in Suffolk, UK.
Clare trained at The College of Fashion and Clothing Technology in London from 1969 to 1972 achieving City and Guilds Part 1 and Part 2 Light Clothing and Manufacture and a Diploma in Fashion at the end of her three years study.
She was then chosen to apprentice at Sir Norman Hartnell Ltd, Bruton St. London where her love of Haute Couture dressmaking and silk was born. She has made both her passion ever since.
Whilst there she progressed quickly to working with the top hand and was privledged to be asked to work on The Queen and Queen Mother's clothes for The Silver Jubilee and Princess Anne's Wedding, amongst others.
Clare set up her own label of Silk Rose Bespoke in 2008 and she now works from her own workroom in her home in Suffolk.
Silk Rose Bespoke able to offer Bespoke and Demi - Bespoke Bridal and Special Occasion Wear to her clients, giving the opportunity to have what she would like to fit in with her budget.
She believes that every Bride deserves the Dress of her Dreams for this very special day in her life.
