music + movement

music + movement is a dance/drama/music company bringing fun exercise and education to pre-school and primary aged children.

After having my first two children I was looking for dance/drama classes accessible to young children and nothing was available in this field hence the syllabus was devised in 1999, shortly afterwards music + movement was founded.

We are currently visiting over 800 children in West Norfolk and Brecklands in a number of different settings :

• sports centers
• schools
• Sure start
• Nurseries
• pre-schools
• playgroups
• village halls

We are currently running a pilot franchise and are looking to expand the franchise within the next two/three years.

I am a mother of three boys who loves to bring the joy of dance to young children. Dance and drama has a unique way of helping children understand our world, have fun and it also breaks any communication barriers.

I am a mother of three boys who loves to bring the joy of dance to young children.

I saw a gap in the market in 1999 for a dance/drama school aimed at young children and started the business in Birmingham. The business was a huge success.

Five years ago we moved to Norfolk and after a years break having my third son I started the business here. It was also successful from the outset.

Dance and drama has a unique way of helping children understand our world, have fun and it also breaks any communication barriers.

My passion is for dance especially flamenco and capoeira.
