Anita Wiafe

Anita is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, as well as the British Psychological Society. She is also a practising Organisational Psychologist and an Accredited Level A and B Assessor for Psychometric testing.

With many years of senior HR, training, and recruitment experience, she has administered a wide variety of advisory, project management, and support services to organisations spanning both the commercial and non-profit sectors. Upon realising that the needs and goals of the two sectors differed substantially, and that those of the public sector were relatively ignored by the service industry, she aspired to use her cumulative knowledge and experience to lend non-profit organisations affordable access to high quality HR and training professionals. To this end, Anita established OML.

She founded the company on the belief that it could enable clients to maximise potential and performance, through the implementation of effective Human Resources Management systems and strategic learning and development schemes. Both reflect the convergent top-down, bottom-up philosophy that characterises her approach to people-management. Anita attributes the growing success of this approach,indeed, the growing success of her company to a combination of her background, her workforce, and a healthy dose of ambition, diligence, and passion.

This passion extends beyond the 0900 to 1730 hours of OML, and into one of London's most deprived boroughs, Hackney. Here, Anita runs employability skills training and career development programmes for disadvantaged youths, and is committed to raising not only their aspirations but their employability.
