Cosytots Organics

Cosytots Organics was launched a couple of months ago and has created lost of interest from different companies.

We specialise in the design and manufacture of soft toys suitable from birth.

All our soft toys are handknitted with love and care. We use the following for the making of these special teddys:

• Pure Organic wool- Certified by the soil association- License N0X8787
• Free from chemicals
• No dyed- 100% natural fibre
• Filled with certified sheep fleece- untreated- washed with ecofriendy products

These soft toys come in 4 different shape:

• Browny, The Classic Bear (Manx Loghtan/ Llnawenog-Cappucino Shade)
• Bella (For girls)/ Jeannot (For boys), The sweet Bunny- (Shetland- Creamy shade)
• Mimie the funky mouse (Shetland- pale Grey/ Fawn- Light Oatmeal Shade)
• Felix Le Chat- (Cat shape) (Jacob- Grey)

We also have a tailor-made service where you can choose the shape of your soft toy and the shade of the wool. To have a tailor made teddy, please either e-mail your request or call on 07840281850 as it is not possible to order from our website yet.

Prices vary from £15.00 to £25.00.

Tailor-Made item start at £35.00 (Prices will depend on the shape, yarn and size chosen)

Our designs are very safe for children as nothing can be pulled out. Eyes, mouth and ears are made out of wool. The Trading Standard association has agreed to the fact above and so no test such as En71 part 1 and 2 have been made. CE mark has been documented and applied to each soft toy.

I as born in 1977 in St Omer, North of France. My mum has always been into craft, knitting, sewing. She is a very creative person and so I got hooked.

I moved to England in February 1998 and I have never regretted it. I lived in different places from Reading to London, spending time in Cambridgeas well.

I have now settled down in Cornwall where the idea of Cosytots Organics was borned.

My partner and I were made redundant without any notice last December. We have two daughters and the first couple of months were very hard. But during all this time I was looking for a job the idea of turning my hobby into a business was growing in me and I couldn't think of anything else.

I spend lots of time doing research about potential wool supplier, designs, sfatey issues, distibutor,etc.. I wanted the business to focus on quality and natural fibre.

Nowadays children have all sort of plastic and electrical toys which they never play with. Cosytots Organics was created to give children the taste of what it was to have a soft toy you could keep for years. Something that wouldn't give you any allergies, something safe with nothing added to it nothing that could be pulled out. A confident who would listen to your joys, your sorrows.
