Join us to hear inspiring stories from fellow enterprising women, to find out more about how our loan fund could help you, and to network with other business women. A representative from Lloyds TSB will also be at hand to answer any questions you have about the Enterprising Women loan fund.

Our first guest speaker is entrepreneur Rebecca Rayner who runs Glebe Farm.

Less than eight years ago Rebecca Rayner was grinding grain on a tiny kitchen mill and baking loaves to sell at local farmers’ markets. Today her Glebe Farm organic bread and superb gluten free cake and bread mixes are found nationwide in supermarkets, delis, food halls and farm shops. How did this happen? What are the secrets of her success?

To discover what has motivated this exceptional young woman and how to emulate her success make a date to meet her on 7th October when she tells Enterprising Women a few trade secrets and reveals how she achieved such stupendous results.

Our second guest speaker is entrepreneur Agnès Aubert who set up two training companies. Agnès Aubert has such a passion for training that she runs two training business ventures: Small Spark Ltd – an IT training company started with a friend – and French for All – a self-employed French language training and translation venture.

Two businesses - how does this work? Alone or in partnership? What is it like being a foreign entrepreneur in the UK? What about work-life balance? For the answers, come on 7th October.

Agnès will share with her fellow Enterprising Women members her experience as an entrepreneur, her insight as a trainer as well as her hopes and plans for the future.

The talk will finish around 1pm followed by lunch and networking until 2pm.
