Collaborative was created following a request from an old friend for some employee relations advice. After a fairly lengthy telephone session the comment was made that it would be useful for lots of small businesses to have access to advice on some of the more sensitive employment issues. If that advice could be depended upon to be up to date on the legal issues and from someone who could be easily contacted so much the better. This lead to the creation of www.collaborative.org.uk set up for jus tthat purpose. Many businesses don't have a dedicated HR department and can struggle with keeping abreast of the frequent changes in employment legislation.
Collaborative offers businesses the chance to have professional employee relations advice at the end of the phone or by e-mail without the need to engage an expensive solicitor. If required Collaborative will ensure that the company's policies and procedures are legally compliant and develop new ones where gaps exist. Policies can be bought on an ad hoc basis without taking up any of the other services. Where required Collaborative can offer tailored workshops in a variety of management skills and to support new employment policies.
We can offer executive coaching with qualified coaches, offering the opportunity for busy executives to try out skills and develop new approaches in a safe, non critical environment.
Collaborative also offers NLP change work for people who want to make a difference to their life.
Based in Bedfordshire Sandra Brown is MD of Collaborative and is an experienced HR practitioner, a MCIPD with a MA in Human Resource Management. She is used to advising employers on strategic and operational issues in a variety of different environments and cultures. She is a Master Practitioner in NLP and a qualified executive coach.
Sandra is current HR Consultant to the Engineering Development Trust and acts as mentor on the Year in Industry Scheme.
