Knit and Yarn

Hi my name is Gilly Bell and after working with Rowan & Jaeger Designer Yarns as a design consultant within John Lewis Norwich, I have decided to start my own business.

Situated in Bungay Suffolk, my shop called Knit and Yarn, will stock Rowan, Jaeger, Patons and many other lovely hand knitting yarns.

I have imported some lovely hand made knitting needles from USA - Lantern Moon. I visit the USA regularly, so hope to import some more knitting yarns that are not yet available here in the UK.

Once we are established, I hope to have a programme available, offering workshops for various hand knitting techniques, as well has basic hand knitting and crochet tutorials.

Having worked within the public sector for many years as a secretary/PA - now my children have grown up and have two lovely grandchildren living in Portland, Oregon, I have decided to start my own business.

I have always loved hand knitting, and have for the last four years worked for Rowan and Jaeger Designer Yarns, promoting these yarns, and teaching people of various ages to knit and helping with their problems.

The enthusiasm of these pupils has encouraged me to start my own business -so hence Knit and Yarn, 3 Upper Olland Street, Bungay, Suffolk. Pop in if you are passing - hope to be up and running around Easter 2007.
