Hitchin business helps drive pink enterprise

The launch of a woman's online business has been boosted by a generous auto spray shop.

James Morris of Ice & Styling in Hitchin has supplied a pink car to Mary Thomas of The PNIK Shop to help launch her exciting new web site.

The website was launched this February after a year of research. The idea for a pink car to promote the business arose some time ago but like everything it was an added expense that would have to materialise in the future when the business was up and running.

James Morris said: "I knew Mary was adamant that she would have a pink car one way or another, we offer modifications and re-sprays so I set about finding a car and we got to work. We all need a helping hand now and again and I took great pleasure in arranging this for the launch of thePNIKshop.com."

It is often difficult to get SME's off the ground and to have established business people willing to support new start-ups is a great way forward.

Mary says: "I was so excited and stunned when my pink convertible was delivered, it was exactly what I had in mind to promote the website and it gets attention every time I am out. I am so grateful to James and Kerrie Morris for their support."

"I have been very fortunate for the support network I have had around me including Redhot Designs and Minds Eye Photos; I hope that I will be able to return the compliment one day."

The PNIK Shop is an online gift shop which supplies quality pink products and services. In the long term Mary hopes to grow the website into a pink portal where an array of pink services can be found.

Mary says: "I am always on the look out for other suppliers of pink products and services, i.e. limos, theme hotel rooms etc." If anyone is interested in talking to Mary please contact her on Mb: 07792 638583 or mary.thomas@thepnikshop.com
