The Women in Business Network

The Women in Business Network (WIBN) is a membership organisation for women in business. Our members are sole traders, larger businesses and employed women. It suits all women who want to improve their business opportunities.

Women collaborate at monthly lunchtime meetings with like minded business owners and decision makers from larger companies.

WIBN is an organisation run by women for women. We currently have over 70 groups in 18 counties across the UK. We have plans for expansion during 2010 and 2011.

We are a one profession per group organisation. Our members are generous spirited women who are business focussed individuals. They refer business to each other in our supportive and friendly meetings.

Our members are passionate about their businesses and want to help and share their expertise and contacts with each other at the monthly meetings.

WIBN Expansion

The WIBN network has been growing through the Franchise Opportunity which offers women the option to purchase and run an exclusive territory of monthly business networking groups. The groups would be ideally situated in her local business community.

Our franchise owners will support and inspire other business women in the locality.

Our business model has recently been adapted to suit the individual'd needs. It fits perfectly with the amount of time each woman has to devote each month.

Our business model can enhance a current business or become a stand alone part time business. We now offer the choice of territory sizes with a sliding scale of costs.

It is a very flexible business opportunity and allows you to build your business based on our reputation and fast growing national awareness.

We are looking to sell our Franchises to women around the UK who would like to run networking groups as a new business which will help and support their primary businss (if they have one). We are looking for dynamic and motivated individuals who want to become part of our success story.

Jan Ibbott

Jan Ibbott founded and set up The Women in Business Network (WIBN) in January 2005 to help promote her jewellery business. Within a very short space of time WIBN had grown in size with groups rapidly spreading around the Home Counties and beyond.

Jan subsequently gave up her jewellery business to concentrate on the organisation and its steady growth.

With over 70 groups, WIBN now seeks new franchisees to further expand the organisation around the UK.
