The RJIS Hitchin office is one of a small number of retail investment teams in Hertfordshire that specialises as investment managers and is authorised to manage investments and portfolios under a discretionary mandate where we take the decisions, act on them and report afterwards.

We specialise as investment managers and aim to add value for investors who come directly to us as well as for investors who are introduced to us by professional practices. Investors may be individuals, companies, trusts or pension funds.

We specialise in bespoke portfolios of collective investment funds using many different fund managers and, particularly, in managing portfolios for income which for most clients must be sustainable and resistant to inflation.

We follow a lower risk investment management philosophy in which preserving gains is a priority. We exercise control through regular and frequent monitoring of the investments which is undertaken daily for individual shares and weekly for collective investment funds. A quarterly asset allocation review is an essential part of the risk monitoring process.
