I have merchadice & some handcrafted goods ranging from 99p - £99. This includes a range of Designer Handbags & sunglasses at outlet prices. Names include Gucci, Christian Dior, Joshua Taylor and Tommy & Kate. There is a gift range with something to suit everyones pocket. Another feature is 'Mystic Corner' with dreamcatchers, jewellery, fairy/native American items.

I will be offering a FREE gift wrapping service & unique Customer Loyalty Sheme detailed on the back of my business card. Coffee/tea will be offered to customers waiting for items to be wrapped. I also intend having a Designer Kidz wipe board to occupy young children.

I am aiming to create a welcoming atmosphere in a small shop that customers will want to return to & will recommend to their friends and family. There will be a 'wish list' service where the customer can note down several items that they would like, treats that they might not be able to justify purchasing for themselves. The list gets passed onto their partner, children etc. & then a gift of their selection can be bought & wrapped for a special ocassiOn i.e. Birthday. How many times do us ladies desire something, only to be given that new kitchen appliance he really thought you'd love!!!

I HAD A DREAM .....Hi, my name is Jill and I have just turned 45 years old. I live in Stevenage with my husband, 16 year old son and 14 year old daughter, plus Skaker the cat.

Primarily I am a child care worker with a backgroud of working for Social Services, Education & most recently for a Charity suppoorting famiiles who have divorced/separated & have contact needs to see the children.

Alongside my regular work I have always been involved with party plan; offering a fun home event through companies such as Virgin Vie Cosmetics/jewellery, Usborne Books - even Ann Summers in my younger days!

I am 100% a peoples person & get most satisfaction from building up a good trusting rapport with everyone I come into contact with.

I had a dream at the age of 18 and even named my future business at that time. I drew up designs for accessories for young childrens' bedrooms that would offer a choice of theme, colour & the option to be personalised. I have given up my job on several ocassions to follow my dream only to be halted by that thing they call 'confidence'. I still believe as passionately in my original idea & plan to gain that confidence by selling other peoples' merchandice that will lend itself to my own designs being added. One step at a time!
