News feeds

We're now providing several news feeds on the site.

What is a news feed?

News feeds, also known as RSS (really simple syndication) feeds or web feeds allow you to be notified of new content without having to actively check for it.

When subscribing to a news feed, you don't need to disclose your email address, so there's no risk of spam or viruses. If you want to stop receiving news, you do not have to send an 'unsubscribe' request.

How do I use news feeds?

You access the new content using a news reader, which is either a piece of software you download, a personalised web page, such as offered by Google or Yahoo, or a web-based reader.

Your news reader will automtically check to see if there are any new pieces of news, and display them in a list, similar to an email inbox.

Clicking on the news headline will take you to the original website (in this case, Enterprising Women), where you can read the whole story.

What news reader should I use?

That's up to you: we've listed some popular ones below. Sorry, but we can't be held responsible for the content of external sites.
