A Mobile Veterinary Service. I come and visit your pets at home. I can offer the full range of services that you would expect from a normal surgery, these include
- vaccinations
- worming and flea control
- microchipping
- medical diagnosis and treatment
- behavioural problems
- euthanasias
My service is for everyone but those who find it particularly useful are people who
- have transport problems
- have pets that don't like going to a surgery
- can't get to a surgery during normal working hours
- find it more convenient to be seen at home.
Appointments are made at a mutually convenient time which can include weekends or evenings, at no extra charge, provided that such appointments are made in advance.
Some veterinary procedures cannot be performed at home, e.g. xrays. For such events I refer clients to a local practice with appropriate facilities.
The business has been running for over two years. Prior to that I worked as the principal small animal vet in a large mixed practice.

I have been a vet for 15 years, it was always my childhood ambition so in that way I am very lucky as I love my job.
I started the business after the birth of my third child when I needed to be able to work more flexibly. The start of the business also coincided with my becoming a single mum so it has grown slowly but steadily.
I had lots of help in the initial stages, mainly from WEETU, which was invaluable. I am now looking for more help as the business is growing.
