Inspiring! Practical advice from practical people – a breath of fresh air. I’ve got more from this network over the last 4 months than anything else, and I’ve been running this business for over 3 years.
Editing your Personal Profile
Have you updated your profile recently? Is your business and profile up to date? We would love to see all our Members include a photo. People buy from people, so it is much better if you can put a face to the name.
Your profile is a fantastic way to let people know about! Your profile is not set in stone, and you can go back and edit it whenever you want to.
This is a 5-step process.
Step 1 – Account details
You will have already created a username. Your email address will automatically be populated when you create an account, but you change this at any point. You can include an email address whereby we can contact you from about our latest details and updates. You can also change your password. This information is not made public.
Step 2 – Contact details
Use this page to fill in your full name and address details. Don’t forget to upload a picture of yourself – it’s nice to put a face to the name.
Step 3 – Personal Details
This is only visible to the Associate and Enterprising Women Members i.e. if you have and Enterprising Women account. Please note, only your name and picture will appear visible, your email address will not.
In your personal profile section, think about how you introduce yourself and your business at networking events: your profile on the website is this introduction to yourself, online. Aim for a short snappy description of who you are, what you do and what your interests are.
Step 4 – Private Information for EW Admin only
This information will not be shown on your profile and is information only for EW records.
Step 5 – More info
This is just a quick question about how you heard of Enterprising Women. Once completed, you have the opportunity to read through the Terms and Conditions of Use before accepting and completing your profile.
Each of us has different motivations for being in business: different worries, different stories, different ambitions.
But we can all be an inspiration to others, and share our knowledge and experience, too... so make sure that others are aware of your areas of expertise by fully completing your online profile.
