Jaluch
Helen Jamieson

Helen is CEO of Jaluch Ltd, an innovative and forward thinking HR and training consultancy which currently has 3 offices in the UK, and plans to expand globally over the coming years with trade visits already having taken place to Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Many years ago, Helen left St Andrews University with an MA in Arabic Studies which somehow led her directly into a career in HR with ICI. Whilst studying Helen also spent time living in both Germany and Qatar and she always tries to draw on her international experiences and knowledge when developing her business and supporting clients.

Prior to her current business Jaluch (established in 2002) Helen set up and subsequently sold (2001) her first HR consultancy, Quintox.

With a real focus on the continuous training and development if its staff, a desire to provide great customer service and constant innovation and creativity within the business in order to keep at the forefront of the HR profession, Jaluch has always had a very loyal client base and a great reputation which over time has resulted in a client list that includes Honda, Merlin Entertainments, Sunseeker, Regis, Swindon College, Warner Bros. as well as numerous SMEs and tiny business start ups!

The emphasis of the business is on providing clients with practical, pragmatic and commercially focussed support. In fact the commercial approach to complex HR matters is what makes Jaluch stand so far out from the crowd whenever Jaluch is being compared to other HR consultancies, legal advisors and professional advice services.

Last year Jaluch won an award for Excellence in People Development and also passed its first ever Investors in People assessment with flying colours of which Helen is very proud.

Alongside business development activities at Jaluch, Helen regularly blogs and tweets on both business and HR matters and has accrued over the past few years numerous followers. She is also a regular presenter at seminars and conferences, speaking on topics such as ambition, innovation, motivation and female entrepreneurship.

Helen herself is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organisation (WPO), and through Jaluch has become an accredited WE Connect International member. She was also appointed in 2011 a UK Female Entrepreneurship Ambassador.

'Courageous, Caring and Committed' are the three values of the Jaluch organisation and Helen hopes that she too shows these values in the way she operates, both inside and outside of work.
