What I like about Enterprising Women, in addition to the first class growth support, is that everyone can find someone at their particular level to discuss challenges with and get motivated by. My business is one of the largest in the community, but I regularly get a boost from meeting other inspirational members, especially as I operate almost entirely in a man’s world.
The Cambridge Business Club celebrated its first anniversary since its successful launch in September 2013. The Mayor, Councillor Gerri Bird and her consort were among those who attended the event.
Host, Liz Lyon, opened the forum with an introduction to the club and its time with Enterprising Women, followed by guest speaker, Luanne Hill of Accent on the Positive, providing a fun and interactive presentation entitled, "How to make an impression in 3 seconds".
The Mayor Councillor Gerri Bird provided a few words on her involvement at the anniversary event. And finally the celebrations came to a close with cake and a group photo.
